Ray-Ban, the world’s best selling eyewear brand, returned to The Isle of Wight Festival this year to continue Ray-Ban’s long standing iconic association with the music scene. A Ray-Ban walk in Video/Rock out! booth was created and located in the Strawberry fields. Festival goers were targeted by Ray-Ban scouts, encouraged to have a Ray-Ban Wayfarer temporary tattoo applied and then invited to rock out to the latest indie/rock track wearing a cool pair of Ray-Bans in the booth. The video captured was instantly streamed onto the Ray-Ban Rooms website, and the video with the most hits won a brand new Apple iPad with a year’s supply of music.
Magnet Harlequin was delighted to support Ray-Ban on this exciting campaign – creating adverts for the brand relating to the Isle of Wight festival and designing backdrop artwork for the booth. The campaign was a huge success, and the booth was packed throughout the weekend (as confirmed by a member of the team who was enjoying the weekend herself!).
