In April 2011 Magnet Harlequin opened its first production studio in China as a result of a further new business win, this time a significant Packaging Artwork Tender for a Global DIY Chain. Alan Wright, MD, says "We have been closely monitoring the Far East for years. The Board agreed late last year that we would set up in the region during 2011 to service our growing list of leading European retailers. This Tender win has hastened the process and our retail clients are delighted. The operation (which will be known as Magnet Harlequin Asia) really does have huge potential and we are all extremely excited at the opportunity ahead".
